So you're interested in contributing to the Dust Tape Wiki

What is the Duct Tape Wiki?

This is a user edited website about how to make different things out of Duct Tape or really any other 2 inch wide tape.

So how do I edit it?

Email me here and ask to be a contributer for the Duct Tape Wiki. If you like, you can attach pictures of some of the work you've done, I'd love to see it. Then learn how to write articles in wiki markup. The easiest way is to just click the edit button on any page and view the source and learn from what we've already written, but you can also just read the pbwiki tutorial on it.

Learn how to use bold, italics, tables, and more: The wiki style page

Do I need to be a really good duct tapist?

You are not required to have ANY Duct Tape experience at all!!!

If you would like to just make spelling and grammar corrections to the tutorials already posted, you can do that. Doing so requires no experience being a duct tapist so go ahead and shoot me an email. Having people to try and keep this looking professional (as much as duct tape can) is much appreciated.

What do I work on now that I have the password?

You have four major choices here:

  1. Edit or correct an existing tutorial
  2. Add a second method to a tutorial (ie laying sheets - plenty of ways to do this)
  3. Add a tutorial idea to the list
  4. Write a tutorial!!!

I would like it if anyone writing tutorials tried to match my style with the nested lists, but if you don't feel like writing it like mine, go ahead and write it however you like.

Which tutorials need to be written?

* - Someone is planning to write this one. Try to contribute to another tutorial to not duplicate work.

Contributer Notes

I really need someone else to write the Belt, Purse, and TrenchCoat tutorials... I almost never make these and they don't turn out very good when I do... I've never even tried to make a trench coat

We have now moved all the unwritten tutorials to only be in here, so once you finish a tutorial, make sure to move it back out onto the front page so people can see that it's done.

Reorganized the wallet "section" so it's now a section instead of one tutorial. So now we need to write a few more wallet tutorials.
